Hmmm. Two of my favorite labels/crews (G.O.O.D. Music and Dipset) and the new powerhouse ( Young Money). Dipset's back together, G.O.O.D.'s got a sound that I love ( AND THEY GOT PUSHA T NOW!?!? SERIOUS!), and Young Money just seems to have artists' that everybody loves. Who's gonna take over? Whoever does...Drake stop tryna be sumthing your not lol

A Lil Bead of Me

- Anybody that nows me knows that I keep a large collection of spiritual and power beads/bands around my wrist and neck at all times. My sister's think I look like a hippie with all the accessories, which may be true, but I digress. I love my beads because I feel like they sum me up without words and I actually do believe that they grant me good fortune/protection because I've lived a blessed life so far. Plus I was never one for "ICE", and my wrist pieces add a suttle and spiritual look to my day-to-day wear. Blame my father  because it was him that started putting Islamic prayer beads around my neck when I was young and I've kinda got addicted to them over the years. But I intend to keep up my collection for years to come and probably start the habit on my kids in years to come. Plus, I think they look pretty cool on me.

While we’re talking, Cudi excitedly rummages through a stack of scratched-up CD-Rs, pulling one out that says KID MESC: RAP HARD with three different Ohio phone numbers written in black marker. This is his first demo, from 2001. He slides it into his MacBook, begging not to be judged. “I’m nervous, man!” There’s shoddy, chipmunk soul-style production and a rickety, East Coast–influenced flow, but it’s Cudi all over.

“I been drunk before, but I’m feeling this shit / I’ve been high before, but I’m feeling this shit,” he raps on “Party All the Time.” When the song is over, Cudi realizes it’s not so bad. “Man, I might redo this and release it!”

100TH BLOG POST

I GOT A HUNDRED BLOG POSTS!!!. It feels like the hundreth page in a journal lol. I never figured I'd have so much to write down on wanna share, and there's more to come :-)

In honor of my one of my favorite skateboarders, and favorite black skateboarder getting his own show on tv, I decided to dedicate this post to Terry Kennedy. It was because of him and Kareem Campbell that I actually even wanted to skateboard in the 1st place. But all that talk of your black you should be playing football or basketball or doing something else kinda got into my head when I was younger so I stopped skating for a while, but I'm getting back into it now, and am happier that I picked a board back up again. But here's kudos' to the man who never put his board down and is finally making it doing what he loves too, which I hope to do some day.

Soooo I have yet to hear back from the grad school that i planned on going to, shy of a couple "visit us letters", and the community college dat i planned on taking a course at towards grad school FAILED to inform me that I was accepted and needed to take a placement assessment...SMHEAD!! Not only did that anger me, but it made my B GPA seem like a D. I felt like damn I can't even get into a community college (even though I did, but you get the point). Plan's A and B down the drain so it's lookin like I'm just gonna be working for a semester and trying to record some music while I try to get my masters again in January... hopefully... Atleast I'll be able to save money again because it's been hard to do that for some time. This definitely putting a halt to my movements in life.
